In Honor of Bruria and the Gmax Jerusalem teachers and staff for truly being extraordinary educators, in the real sense of the word. For supporting each individual to grow, learn and succeed academically. For providing excellent academic studies that included more than just Text book knowledge. And for dedicating themselves this year and for the future, to the success of each student in their academic careers.

Hashem gave you the gift of playing a major role in facilitating the integration of anglo-speaking teenagers in The Land of Israel. Thank you for doing it with so much Care, Joy and Warmth. You truly live out the GMAX mission statement.

Wednesday night was absolutely amazing!!! All agreed! We were thrilled and moved as we watched N and his friends show their incredible confidence and poise. It was so clear through all that was said and done that their self esteem (THE single most important thing that a student should leave school with, in my opinion) was clearly and strongly intact. Each and every one of the students showed a strong sense of self and of belonging to a rich and very mportant community. This community is their springboard. It is part of the baseline for their lives, and for their existence in Israel.

This first year back in Israel for N, and for so many of the other kids, each in their own place in their relationship to and experience in the country, is in my opinion so important to how they continue to exist here, how much they feel "part of it" and what they go on to to build and create here.

GMAX is a wonderful environment, perfect for students such as N to land in, to grow in and to develop themselves. We are deeply grateful for the wonderful school that you have created and for all of the time and energy that you devote to the program and the students on a daily basis. N has been driven to return to Israel for a very long time. In many ways the timing of our return here is due to his passion to be back-NOW. Thank you for welcoming him home to such a nurturing and positive environment.

In honor of Bruria Martin and all the wonderful teachers at GMAX. I can honestly say, that after sending all of our children to many different Yeshivas, Cheders, Mesivtas, and Torah Academys for the past 23 years, GMAX has been, hands down, the single most positive experience of excellence in education that we have had with any of our children. You do what everyone says they will, but don't. You treat each student as an individual and work with him or her to find their own unique potential and work towards fulfilling it. You are wise, caring, dedicated, professional, flexible and firm.

Bruria, you are an educator extraordinaire. You and your staff have been more than just a school. You have provided a well-rounded education not only in academics, but in lifeskills, in attitude, in approach! And you have done so with simcha and sensitivity and so much niceness!!!

A child will not learn in a place where he does not feel happy. Every child is different and every child ought to have the place of study that he looks forward to attending each morning. This is the atmosphere that GMAX provided our son. With a healthy combination of high learning standards, discipline and total belief in each child's innate abilities, GMAX restored our son's faith in himself while creating a learning environment that was stimulating and thought provoking. The well-rounded curriculum taught by outstanding teachers who "have a handle on teenagers," peaked his curiosity and encouraged him to put in the time and effort necessary to complete his studies and receive his high school diploma. The class was small and intimate, giving each child the attention and care they needed. We highly recommend GMAX for any student who is grappling with the challenges of the school they are currently attended.
